i do remember a lot of pros saying eventide was going to do nothing for any format and they were wrong this is the broken set of this block like loryn planer chaos ravnica miridon and onslaught

Then your definition of broken is incorrect. Every set will have its cards, Eventide didn't do much for stuff besides standard.
