no but itl make for great draft stories like it was pack 2 and i was pased apocolipse hydra i changed from GW to GR fast

its ridiculous and relatively easy to play actually. I personally like meglanoth or whatever, and progenitus is ridiculous. protection from everything seems like an unhinged thing to say

yeah,itll probably own, even in constructed. only way to kill it in block is scourglass, nicol bolas with ultimate ability, or 5 infests (lolz)

just because pro everything isn't really that. it can still be wrath'ed evac'd starstorm'd and so on. this makes it so once you play something it'd stick no matter what.

im speachless. i cant think of anything that can describe the brokeness that is conflux. the pack has to many abusable cards, block should be awesome. its fitting that the mirrodin/urzas cycle through is the broken block

ya, it really is amazing. how he hell can so many cards ONLY require one of each color. Cruel control is way to easy to win wiht now with vivids and such. Hell, im making a five color deck just for conflux

WAIT!!! As ricky has heard me preach. The development team said they made a mistake with the vivid lands. These wont be as easy once lorwyn cycles. Plus these aren't broken. They're BIG STUFF, BIG STUFF is much different than broken. Big stuff will always be dealt with by things printed in the same set.

The set isn't broken yet. (mirror sigil sergant is) It;s filled with big creatures all of which can be dealt with with one or two mana.

rickys right, the only good counters are punish ignorance and cancel, and cancel isnt all that great. there is no way blue can counter everything, and the only wraths cost 7(the white x, if x is 5 do something awesome), and scourglass, which cant go untill turn 6, and naturalize in the sideboard kills . non esper control will be neigh unplayable

nate sad. wizards broke the format. white is now unstoppable as the greatest removat color. im playing control in block, tired of playing around counters/kill, dont want to play around path to ezile

the last post was a little extreme, i realized that the reason for all the great removal is the lack of counters, and that will lead to a near controlless format, or at least a counteress one. path to exile is necessary to deal with all the amazing new creatures, but unfortunately the price that is paid for this amazing chance at a format that hopefully will be dominated by creature decks is the disadvantage other crature decks will face. we are giving up ease in one format for dificulty in another, at least in decks like affinity, and slightly treefolk that relly on a few key cards to win(without doran, or timber protector, half of my creatures dont hit for more than 3), but hopefully the land search will make the card undisirable in extneded

No. You guys just haven't been around enough sets to see how this is going to play out. the only good counters are cryptic,broken, amitions, negate, bant charm, remove soul, whatever might be in conflux and some others not mentioned. You'll have to get past seeing a bunch of big guys and going BROKEN OMG BROKEN! while screaming like girls.

Most pros think this set isn't going to so much.
