on tuesday the 30th at wonkos starting @ 12 we will draft twice and play some star
for this star game you must make a deck useing only shards cards each person will do a diffrent shard and that will determin allies and enemys and as team leader i call grixis

do you know what star format is????

Not to be mean but shouldn't we proxy decks and play them for testing instead of playing every format someone comes across when surfing the net? We'll have plenty of fun drafting and testing. If we're going to be the great team we can be shouldn't we be getting the team some experience? We can be more than just a casual team but experience isn't just playing a bunch of games of magic, it's about looking into the games you play and learning from them. While playing the shards is cute that won't give anyone as much as much of an opportunity to look into format games.

I probably take the game more seriously because of what I've learned from it. Magic really helped my logical thinking in a way that I understood with card interactions. The scrutinizing of countless rules text believe it or not helped my SAT score into the top 15% of my class. I did this playing FNM's.

So that being said Chris votes for an all day test fest bringing multiple decks to test after the draft. I think this will put us further on the track to playing competitively.

i would guess only extended, block and standard. no vintage or legacy or anything. right?

yeah, I have a lot of crap to proxy. Look what people need and try to bring it. spend the next few days making decks and proxying.
