What's gonna be the new extended powerhouse since elves are toast?

i like affinity besides all the hate. it wins almost every game 1 and can work through a good amount of hate 2 and 3

This is an interesting new fast deck. I'm adding it to the mws software to test tomorrow. I like it's looks though. And since elves and zoo were its main bane and elves is gonna be gone all i have to fight through is zoo

i have been thinking, what about affinity w/ masters of etheruim?

its a sideboard in case of burn/general fall apartness

They're still good and the peopl that count them out will lose.

no. they will die with sentinel. ive playtested versions of the deck. ive taken out sentinel in them. without sentinel it gets stomped.

you don't play the same decklist without sentinel dummie. Elves has been a strategy for a long time and they are very strong in extended. It's the kithkin of extended if you will but can win faster than most zoo decks.

its slow compared to second sunrise even without sentinel. a turn three win is unstoppable without sentinel

elves run naturalize. Elves win that matchcup most of the time.

naturalize wont slow it down too much actually. most artifacts they run can sac in response. it doesnt run any enchants in most lists anyway
