Pro Tour Austin Plans

so we will plan on getting a hotel for friday and satuerday nights and be back on sunday night it will be lots of fun with tons of cool side events and plenty of zendikare for everyone

now cost im thinking hotell @ $100 a night 2nights 5people = roughly $50 per person (it wont exactly be 100 a night plus tax) then if you figure 1 $25 event a day plus some $5 events i would bring $60-$75 for events as for food we get free breakfast from the hotel then water is $3 a case plus bread peanut butter and chips about $5 per person and we can make sadwiches and eat chips that brings the total to about $125 or $55 plus however much you want to spend for eventsit all depends if you want to try for big prizes or play safe and pay $5 to win 8 packs in your best formatits up to you but it will defeinetly be a blast for everyone to get the best hotel deals i think that we should try to have the hotel money by late september early october

well holy crap guys, i just blew a decent amount of cash. how far off is this?

you dont realy need that much for events it just depends there are big events that cost more and have big prizeis but theres more people and your more likely to lose however for $5 you can sit down to 8 player single elim constructed where winner gets 8 packs and second gets 4 and $5 for 8 or even 4 packs is an amazeing deal

if we use hotels.com or make reservations in advance it will be cheaper. and we'll want to reserve a hotel fast, ones close to the pro tour will probably be taken by the people going there, or prices will be raised

my dad actualy belives that they wont let us have a room without a parent gardian and a credit card so maby we could if every one pitched in $20 gas and $10 for food my dad might driveus all weekend and we could crash @ my house it makes things alot cheaper

ok so its officil everyone pays $30 and we go friday and come back then go satuerday and come back and then you can be picked up on sunday @ my house everybodys parents are cool about skiping school that friday right??????? if so then try to be droped off @ my house on that thursday after school and after youve done your homework (groan sigh boo hiss) itll be great and we could if we dont open prize packs there we can draft @ my house when we get back

ok so it looks like the major public events are all for sealed/standard, i was thinking we could all get together and playtest. and if anyone wants to sealed on mws, just pm me.
